Polar Shredding is well known as a leading supplier of secure document destruction services. Have you ever wondered what happens to the paper after the confidential documents have been shredded?
Confidential paper is picked up in a few different ways. Whether it be secure rolling bins, secure office consoles, or locked desk side containers. When your documents are collected by our team of document destruction technicians, they’re destroyed right there on-site by our state-of-the-art shred truck. The sensitive documents are destroyed properly and effectively. But what happens to all that shredded paper?
The shredded paper is transformed into “de-inked pulp”, which is made up of fine particles that can then be recycled to create new paper products such as; paper towel, toilet paper, writing paper, etc. To learn more about pulping check this out! (You are the first step in the recycling process).
Why is Pulping so important?
All confidential documents need to go through the recovered fiber pulping and recycling process. This is the easiest of the pulping procedures and produces products primarily for sanitation, therefore playing an important role in the recycling game!
Do you wish you could help the environment by using less paper?
You’ve come to the right place! We have a division that focuses on reducing paper dependency, while showing a strong improvement in efficiency and a quick return on investment.
